Woodland Studios has produced embroidered sportswear since 1987, at which time we purchased our first machine, a Melco Superstar 2-head unit. We now operate a twelve head, four head, and several single head machines for smaller orders. |

Fleece
blankets are being run here with a protective film called Solvy. The film
creates a layer between the embroidery and the blanket, which allows for a crisp
sewout.
|
A
pre-production sewout is normally run to test for proper thread tensions and color sequencing. This logo will be sewn on caps.

Caps
are usually run on our four-head
embroidery machine. They are loaded into
special hoops, snapped into place on the
machine's cap frame, and then sewn at 600
stitches per minute.
|
Large
production runs are sewn on a 12 head machine, seen here running golf
shirts. The machine has nine needles per head and is fully computerized
and automated for high volume, high quality production.
